New Waves

Hello there,

This summer got hit by a couple of heat waves. It got super warm in the apartment. Almost 30 degrees on some days. It wasn’t as warm as in Bangkok but here, it was too warm without an air-con. 

My summer vacation started pretty calmly because I didn’t plan much to begin with. So far, I had a few rounds of Korean BBQ on my balcony. The beef round with my friend Johannes and the vegetarian round with Dan and Marie. I went to Amundön with my friend to chill at the beach and take some dips. The weather was quite alright. There were both warm days and cold days. So I just adapted my days according to the weather mainly.

There was quite a lot going on with my plants during this month. Parsley, dill and coriander were bolting. They got very tall. The wild strawberry-Yellow Wonder made a lot of fruits and I could pick them every few days. The succulent-Sempervivum grew a lot from June. It was a bit difficult to notice because they grew slowly. I had to take a photo to compare. Then, the last pot that I grew was the mixed flowers. They started to bloom already. Let’s see how tall they could grow.

Lately I got some new items for my apartment-the new mushroom Lego set, a parasol from my good friends (Robert and his wife-Miki), and some paintings from secondhand stores. I guessed I should take a break from decorating my apartment as it got pretty full with many things XD
