Unusual January

Happy New Year,

Snow came just a few weeks after Christmas. The whole city was covered in white. It was beautiful but inconvenient. I got back to work just a couple of days after the storm hit the city. Trams and buses didn’t operate at the time because there was too much snow. So I had to walk to work. It was my first time seeing this much snow in Gothenburg. My colleagues also said that the last time with this amount of snow was long long time ago.

Another phenomenon I got to see was sundog. It was a very cold day with sun in the sky. Luckily I was outside and got to see sundog on the hill near my home.

Then, there was a very strong solar activity recently. As a result, I got to see the northern lights from my home. The activity level was extremely high for 2 days but the sky was clear for only one day. The other day was completely cloudy, otherwise I would see colorful night sky.

Here I finished the third bag. It was a very simple bag and didn’t take much time to finish it. The plan is to use this bag in the summer.
