Short Month, Long Winter

Hi there,

This was a quick month. The snow stayed longer than expected. It felt like this winter had been very long and cold. I had been having ice and snow on my balcony for quite a while. I could only hope that my plants would survive the winter. 

This month I spent a lot of time and energy on planning for the move and the new apartment which I would move into next month. There were lots of things to think about. I was really looking forward to the change. Though I was quite sad that I would move away from my good neighbours and colleagues. Let’s see what the new place would bring.

Some weeks ago, I visited Paradox Museum with Club Afry. There were so many interesting and trippy things in there. They were mostly optical illusions. It was pretty fun to take photos and play with different things. However, the normal price was quite high. I was lucky that I got a ticket through Club Afry. So I got dinner as well.

Here is another activity with Club Afry. I got a chance to see Miss Saigon, the musical. It was very dramatic and impressive. The performers were very powerful and talented. There were several touching moments :’( Overall, the show was just great. I’d give it 10 out of 10.

This year I didn’t have such baking resolution like last year, but recently I made crème brûlée for the first time. It turned out very well and delicious. There were a few things to adjust for the next time like the amount of topping sugar and how long to burn it. It was just difficult to know the right amount when I made it by myself for the first time. I didn’t take a photo of all the portions but here I have one that I already dug in :D (Too bad the sugar was a bit too burnt on this one.)
