Good Time, Good Summer

Hello there,

My summer vacation was about to be over. I was pretty lucky with the weather this summer because it was warm and sunny most of the time. There were some rainy and stormy days but it wasn’t so bad. I managed to take some trips around Gothenburg as I was waiting to renew the residence permit. So no big travel this summer.

My friend-Johannes and I visited Askimsbadet, Marstrand, Stora Amundön, Skärhamn/Tjörn, and Smithska Udden. We visited several beaches and went to Nordic Watercolor Museum as well. It was a couple of intense weeks actually.

There were some updates in my apartment. I got a new ceiling lamp (Verpan Globe) :D So the balloon needed to move to the window instead. My plants also grew a lot this summer. They were quite dormant in June. Suddenly when the warmth hit in July and August, they just went crazy. 

For this month, blueberry and blackberry were quite cheap. So I baked lemon-blueberry crumble cake and lemon-blackberry crumble cake.

Overall, it was a good summer. I was happy about it :)
